Student Life - Where You Belong
We are an excellent transitional school that helps you get back on track and return to a traditional or alternative high school. Parents tell us how valuable our program is to their children. Holiday Breaks As a school open throughout the full year,we provide five school breaks. The holidays rejuvenate our students and help them feel enthused for the next session. Generally, our timetable offers the following breaks:
1. October: Two-week holiday
2. December: Two-week holiday following all TDSB high schools’ timetable
3. February: Two-week holiday following session exams in January
4. April: Two-week holiday. We do not provide a March break
5. Mid July to mid August: Summer break
Students “choose to attend Eyrac because of the flexibility it allows them in the chaotic lives they lead, as well the caring nature of the teachers”. Our students value the fact that our teachers and support staff view them as individuals. We are all willing to make exceptions when the situation merits. Our philosophy is, “one size does not fit all!”
Parent and Community Engagement
We welcome parent involvement. Many studies have shown that there is a direct correlation between student success and parent involvement.
