It has schools, parklands, and plenty of green space, especially along the Oshawa Creek that flows north-south through the neighbourhood. In the southeast area, homes are generally 1960s bungalows and ranch-style, on generous lots, as well as some new homes along Stevenson Rd N. On the west side, homes are from a bit later, and are larger, 2-storey or split-level, but on narrower lots.
