Our school is a vibrant community of over 190 students, from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. After attending Roseneath, our students head off to Cobourg Collegiate Institute for Secondary School. Our students are active participants in their learning and in a variety of activities throughout the year. Our committed staff regularly engage in professional learning and share their time and energy supporting students' social, emotional and academic growth in varied ways, and strive to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
Alnwick/Haldimand is a township in Northumberland County, situated between Lake Ontario and Rice Lake. It was formed in 2001 by the merger of Alnwick Township in the north and Haldimand Township in the south. Alnwick/Haldimand is part of the Oak Ridges Moraine: a significant land form in Ontario. The township is rural with agriculture being the largest contributor to the general economy. Outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, snowmobiling, fishing, birding and camping contribute to the tourism industry.
