About Al-Iman School

The School follows the Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum and uses the Ministry Approved Textbooks for all subjects. The Ontario Ministry Tests are written in Grades 3 and Grades 6. The School day, at 7 hours, is much longer than the regular school day and allows for Islamic education. The children perform salaat, learn to read the Qur’an, memorize surahs, kalimahs and dua’s. Islamic topics are integrated into the daily curriculum.

Al-Iman School is located in Queen Street Corridor

The Queen Street Corridor is in south central Brampton, a corridor straddling Queen St from roughly Centre St in the west to Bramalea Rd in the east. This area is an extension of the downtown core to the west, and includes commercial areas, and an area of townhomes and single-detached homes in the west end, with high-rises in the west end. The Corridor has seen extensive redevelopment and revitalization since approximately 2010. This neighbourhood includes the Bramalea City Centre and Donald M. Chinguacousy Park, both of which also underwent redevelopment and revitalization, including a new transit terminal at Bramalea City Centre. Many changes and improvements were also made to the transportation system in this area, including new rapid transit. As well, six new condominium projects were completed, to bring more residents to the downtown and central area.
