A roughly triangular neighbourhood just northeast of downtown Guelph, Central East, also known as Saint Georges, is bordered by the Speed River, Eramosa Road, Victoria Road North, and the train tracks. Most of this neighbourhood is residential, with some retail along Eramosa Road. A variety of housing types can be found here, from single-family riverfront homes to high-rise and low-rise apartment complexes.
