Bishop Scalabrini is in a vibrant, diverse, urban school community. Cristo Rei Parish is located next door, and Father Michael Goetz Secondary School is across the street, making for a compact unit of faith-based and academic institutions, servicing the needs of catholic families. The area has undergone significant intensification, with high density residential construction dominating the landscape. While the school has seen reducing enrollment due to boundary changes, and a maturing neighbourhood, there may be increased enrollment in years to come as residential projects near completion. There is a significant number of new Canadians that have made the Bishop Scalabrini area home. The school benefits from the support of a settlement worker, and welcomes students with varied needs, from a multitude of backgrounds.
