Mississauga Christian Academy was founded in 1977 as a faith-centered, coeducational institute. The school has been dedicated to serving a diverse student population and admits secondary school-bound students with a wide range of abilities. Offering education from junior kindergarten to grade 8, the School has a population of about 120 students and aims to keep class sizes relatively small at a range of 12-15 students per class.
The Meadowvale neighbourhood is in northwest Mississauga, west of Meadowvale Village and Meadowvale Business Park. Meadowvale has plenty of park lands and green space, and two lakes (mostly human-made), Aquitaine and Wabukayne, with a system of parks and trails connecting them. Development of the area began in the 1970s. Housing is mostly single-detached older homes, as well as apartment buildings, semi-detached, and condo townhomes. Generally, it is a more affordable area than other Mississauga neighbourhoods.
