The Samac neighbourhood is in north central Oshawa. It is home to the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and Durham College Oshawa Campus. Samac features a conservation area and Camp Samac, with natural wooded areas and waterways, plus there are schools, parklands and plenty of open green space.
