Our School

Among the goals Blaisdale Montessori School strives for are: a sound basis and a healthy attitude for life-long learning, self-discipline, self-respect, independence, getting along with others while developing a social conscience, initiative, ability to concentrate, self-confidence, spiritual growth and care of the environment. In regard to discipline, we use the Adlerian approach which is based on respect for the child and others and encourages the concept of self worth. Blaisdale Montessori School warmly accepts children and families of all backgrounds. Toddler and Casa (Pre-school) children may join all year around. Elementary students usually begin in September and are typically graduates from the Casa program. The School does accept admissions from students who have not gone through the Casa program. 

Montessori Method

Pre-Toddler

Blaisdale Montessori has director approval for mixed age groupings for our Toddler program. The school can accept 20% of the children who are younger than 18 months in one class per campus. 

Toddler

Blaisdale Montessori's Toddler Program offers your child a combination of Day Care and Montessori activities for the 18 month to 3 year old child. We have full day sessions available. 

Casa

Children are placed in two seperate age groups and the full curriculum is designed to be completed over a 3 year period. The Program is based on 5 basic areas of learning. 

Elementary

Most students in Blaisdale Montessori School's Elementary program are graduates from the lower levels of the Montessori program. The school accepts limited registrations from children that have not had the benefit of the pre-school Montessori program.

Renaissance

The curriculum is highly enriched and accelerated, designed to cover a comprehensive range of interests and abilities. The learning environment is structured for challenge and success at all levels. Ages 12 - 14.
