John McCrae is a K to 8 French Immersion School located just south of the Speed River in Guelph. Our 640 Kindergarten to grade 8 students are housed in a beautiful seven year old building surrounded by a park-like setting of maple trees. At John McCrae our motto is “Le monde nous attend” – “The World Awaits Us”. We ask our students everyday to consider “What they will share with the world.” As a staff it is our goal to provide the world with academically strong students, who have a passion and sense of responsibility for the world in which they live.
Located just northwest of the University of Guelph campus, Old University is a sought-after neighbourhood in Guelph. Turn of the century homes mix with new builds and extensively renovated homes, and many have large lots with mature trees. Residents have easy access to all amenities.
