Gibraltar Leadership Academy is proud to be a leader in innovative Islamic education. With a focus on leadership, faith, and academics GLA students are second to none! We provide opportunities for students to enhance their leadership skills through experiential learning experiences such as co-operative education, entrepreneurial pursuits and community engagement. Through a non-traditional school day and dedicated staff, students will be given the attention needed to master subject material that will provide a deeper understanding of the course content. The mission of the Gibraltar Leadership Academy is to provide each student a diverse education in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning. Students will revive their knowledge and practice of Islam through exploration of their faith, acts of worship, and interactions with each other. The focus will be to teach students to live the tradition of Islam in a modern day context.
Agincourt South-Malvern West is located in Agincourt which is a neighbourhood and former village, once referred to as "hero town" by the citizens that lived there. The village of Agincourt was officially founded with the establishment of the Agincourt post office, opened in June 1858 by John Hill. The settlement was named after the site of Henry V's decisive English victory over French forces in 1415. Agincourt has one of the largest Asian communities in Toronto, visible in the signage of the many shopping malls that proliferate in the neighbourhood. The East Indian and Indo Pakistani community are also well established in Agincourt.
