About White Haven Public School

In 1968 White Haven began serving a new subdivision built on what were once farmers' fields. In the Spring of 1999, our school's third building addition opened, providing more classrooms and a second gym. Our school is wheelchair accessible. At White Haven, we believe that all students are capable of excellence and that all teachers enable growth by providing stimulating, informed programs of instruction. Our focus is academic excellence with opportunities for students to explore various artistic and athletic pursuits. Students at White Haven represent a broad and diverse cultural mix. We invite parents and members from our community to assist the school in any way that benefits our students.

White Haven Public School is located in Agincourt South-Malvern West

Agincourt South-Malvern West is located in Agincourt which is a neighbourhood and former village, once referred to as "hero town" by the citizens that lived there. The village of Agincourt was officially founded with the establishment of the Agincourt post office, opened in June 1858 by John Hill. The settlement was named after the site of Henry V's decisive English victory over French forces in 1415. Agincourt has one of the largest Asian communities in Toronto, visible in the signage of the many shopping malls that proliferate in the neighbourhood. The East Indian and Indo Pakistani community are also well established in Agincourt.
