About Bnei Akiva Schools - Ulpanat Orot Girls’ High School

Yeshivat Bnei Akiva Or Chaim, the boys’ division, was founded in 1973, and Ulpanat Orot Girls’ High School, was established in 1975. Both schools seek to provide the Jewish community of Toronto with educational institutions that emphasizes excellence in both Judaic and general studies, a commitment to religious growth, and a close attachment to the language, land and people of the modern state of Israel. There are currently 250 students enrolled at the separate campuses.

Bnei Akiva Schools - Ulpanat Orot Girls’ High School is located in Bathurst Manor

Bathurst Manor is a suburban community of ranch-style house, bungalows, side-split single-family homes and multi-family triplexes built between 1954 and the early 1960s. The area is home to a large Jewish population. It is part of the former City of North York, which merged with five other municipalities and a regional government to form the new "City of Toronto" in 1998.
