Parent and Community Engagement
Parents are encouraged to seek information and give input by attending School Council Meetings and Ward Meetings. We also host the following evenings for parents: Parent-Teacher Conferences, Newcomer Night, Course Selection Information Sessions, College/University Night, and Feeder School Evenings . Some parents get involved as library, field trip, or classroom volunteers, which is always appreciated. We also value the working relationship between home, school, and student; we try to involve parents in decision-making and provide regular updates on their child and school events. Parents and community members are always invited to our many musical productions, dramatic performances, sports games, and art displays. Community partnerships with colleges, universities, graduates, and local businesses enhance the cooperative education, career fair, and job fair experience for students.
