Success is.........the reward for doing your best!
The Toronto District School Board's Mission is "to enable all students to reach high levels of achievement and to acquire the knowledge, skills, and values they need to become responsible members of a democratic society." In order to support the TDSB's Mission, Cedarbrook staff members strive each day to ensure that all students' needs are being met (academic, social, emotional and physical).
History
Cedarbrook Public School held its official opening on Thursday, November 27, 1958. Like the community in which it was situated, the name Cedarbrook came from the name of the original farm owned by Mr. Frank Goforth. Eleven years later, in September 1969, John McCrae Sr. P. S. opened, and Cedarbrook became a junior school. In September 2011, Cedarbrook changed back to a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school.
