About Monsignor John Corrigan Catholic School

Our students come from many parts of the world, enriching our lives with their varied cultures, foods experience. Although we appreciate these enriching elements, we try to focus on the similarities of the Catholic people. We foster a safe and welcoming environment, both at school and in the community. As well as our teachers on duty, our peacemakers' program, where students come to the help of others as mediators and peacemakers, contributes a great deal to how safe and welcoming our school community is.

Monsignor John Corrigan Catholic School is located in West Humber-Clairville

The town of Clairville was established in 1850 at the intersection of Albion Road and Steeles. It was built on a land owned by Jean du Petit Pont de la Haye, who developed the community on his estate which he named after his daughter Claire. Clairville was divided between municipalities and the portion west of Indian Road and Highway 427 is today in Brampton. The area is home to a large industrial and commercial area known as Highfield and a residential area called West Humber Estates which contains primarily single-family detached homes.
