At King Heights Academy, we provide a unique educational experience for children in Pre-K through to Secondary School. Our academic programs interweave the provincial curriculum and International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program to provide safe and collaborative tools and create authentic learning experiences and global interactions for our students.

The International Baccalaureate focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the world outside. It is a concept-based curriculum framework defined by PYP Transdisciplinary Themes of global significance, explored using knowledge and skills from the subject areas, with a powerful emphasis on inquiry-based learning.

Our academic programs are only enhanced by our elite sports programs, each designed to provide our student-athletes with a well-rounded approach to their personal, academic, and athletic success.

A HOLISTIC EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

We offer a holistic educational program, where students are exposed to French as a second language in kindergarten. Visual arts, performing arts, and physical education are articulated as part of the daily program.
