The village of Cooksville is located is south central Mississauga, south of the City Centre and the Square One Mall area. Cooksville features a large baseball facility, parklands, a hospital, library, and schools. The population of this neighbourhood is very diverse, ethnically. Housing is also diverse: there are many high-rise condos along Hurontario St and at Dundas, as well as areas of newer townhome condos, and there are also older single-detached homes, built in the late 1980s and 1990s.
