Student Life - Where You Belong
"Panther pride" - our infectious school spirit - is evident from the wide variety of co-curricular activities in which our students are involved. From Spirit Week, an event directed by the Student Council, to Artbus and May Lyrics, which showcase our students' artistic and musical talents, there truly is a way for everyone to get involved in student life at Lawrence Park. New friendships and new schools of thought will challenge our students to become leaders and better citizens. LP is the perfect place for our students to discover who they are in the classroom and beyond. LP is a school for students by students. Its inspiration and passion come from the hearts of the scholars who reside in its classrooms and take upon themselves the challenge of creating a community that embraces mutual respect and support for each other. Wherever student interests lie, from organizing assemblies to tutoring peers, LP provides open doors. We invite our students to celebrate all that LP offers. Our mission is to motivate students towards excellence in academics, athletics and the arts in order for them to develop the knowledge and skills essential for success.

Parent and Community
Engagement The Lawrence Park School Council is involved in many ways with school life. Each year, the Council organizes several evening events that attract a number of parents and community members. Topics have included sessions on eating disorders, drug-prevention programs, drinking and driving, university-application process, student evaluation and managing life with a teenager. The LPCI School Council plays an advisory role, consulting with parents of students enrolled in the school about a variety of issues, and making recommendations to both the Principal of the school and the Toronto District School Board.
