Character Education
Every month, students from each registration class are recognized by their peers and staff for demonstrating specific attributes related to the TDSB's ten Character Traits. These might include good deeds performed in class or around the school. An assembly is held to recognize the accomplishments of the students for their good character.

Student Life - Where You Belong
Glenview students enjoy a number of interesting, curriculum related field trips to reinforce learning. Our numerous sports opportunities compel students to relate as team members and compete with good sportsmanship while practicing responsibility and commitment. Our various student clubs offer something for everyone from the Animanga and Games club to the Robotics club. Every year our grade 8 students have an opportunity to experience overnight field trips. This is very rewarding and students gain great insight from these trips. They include numerous trips to Quebec City, Huntsman (New Brunswick) and to Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve. Students involved in our band and strings programs may choose to enjoy a music camp in the fall and in June. The Prefect System is the form of student government at Glenview. It provides an opportunity for grade 8 students to develop positive leadership skills and to show their commitment to the school community. Each year, students and staff vote on the prefect applicants. Those candidates who receive the most votes and fulfill all requirements will serve the school in one of the 15 positions available.
